World Water Frog Day
- African Clawed Frog (Xenopus laevis), also known as simply Xenopus, African clawed toad, African claw-toed frog.
- This frog species lacks a tongue and a visible ear.
- It has two small eyes found on the top of the head and no eyelids.
- African Clawed Frogs are found along the African Rift Valley south of the Sahara in east and southern Africa. They are also found in South Africa and Namibia and Angola in western Africa.
