- Snapping Turtle (Chelydra serpentina) – is an aquatic turtle that prefers slow-moving, shallow bodies of water with muddy bottoms, which give them places to hide.
- The Snapping Turtle is found from southeastern Canada to the southern tip of the Florida panhandle.
