Don’t Step on a BEE Day
- Bees have 4 Wings. The two wings each side hook together to form one larger pair when flying and then unhook when they’re not flying.
- Bees have a clever way of communicating between themselves to tell their nestmates where to go to find the best source of food.
- Bees have two stomachs – one stomach for eating and the other special stomach is for storing nectar collected from flowers or water so that they can carry it back to their hive.
