Around the world, 1 in 4 animal species are vulnerable to complete extinction. Sylvia Medina is using her hands-on expertise and passion for animals and the environment to try and change this dire statistic.
Sylvia Medina is a renowned author, environmental engineer, environmental champion, and founder of Green Kids Club. She has observed close up the continuous risks faced by animals living in the wild. Channeling her passion and deep personal connection with wild animals, she has built a movement to raise awareness among children about endangered species through storytelling.
About Green Kids Club:
Green Kids Club focuses on spreading the word about environmental issues relating to people and animals through storytelling. We do this by working with conservation groups such as Elephants Without Borders, Saving the Survivor, and Blood Lions as some examples and writing children’s books related to environmental issues they are experiencing. After publishing a book with one of these conservation groups we donate part of our proceeds to their organization.
